Queensland reeled in South Australia’s revised target of 156 with an over to spare in their rain-marred domestic one-day match at the Gabba in Brisbane on Wednesday evening.

The Redbacks won the toss and batted first, and fought the conditions to record 7 for 203 from 39 overs with consistent rain cutting short their innings.

Jason Gillespie was the pick of the Redbacks’ bowlers, collecting figures of 2 for 30 from six overs, as the South Australians struggled to subdue the Bulls’ attacking intent.
